Confirmation Notice on the new date for the 18th Japan-Korea-China Pediatric Nephrology Seminar 2021
The 18th Japan-Korea-China Pediatric Nephrology Seminar 2020 (18jkcpns) was originally scheduled to be held on April 25, 2020 at Centennial Hall, Kyushu University, Japan.
Due to the current outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the organizing committee has decided to postpone the seminar.
The new seminar date is confirmed as April 25, Sunday 2021 .
We hope your contenious support.
Moreover, we have concluded to hold the seminar totally on the Net in place of holding a real assembly of participants, because any assembly would bear risk of the health of participants. Please understand our painful decision.
The new program will consist of 2 patterns of presentation, which are LIVE and Prerecorded sessions. CPD and Oral Sessions will be mainly LIVE and Poster sessions will be organized as prerecorded. LIVE sessions will be broadcasted at specific times on the scheduled dates. Poster sessions will be available as on-demand delivery only. We are also going to arrange on-demand delivery for CPD and Oral sessions as far as approved.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to the 18thJapan-Korea-China Pediatric Nephrology Seminar!
This annual international seminar organized by three countries in Northeast Asia has a great history of 19 years by now. Scientific communication, close relationships and warm friendship have been established through this seminar in pediatric nephrologists of our three countries. This seminar has also become a good stage for young promising doctors to present and discuss the topics of pediatric nephrology in English under academic but frank and warm atmosphere.
We have been preparing to hold the 18th seminar in Fukuoka in April 2020, however, due to novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, we have postponed it to April 25, 2021 and decided to hold it completely on the Net. We were looking forward to having pediatric nephrologists from three countries get together actually in Fukuoka, the historical port city with a long history with Korea and China, to deepen their research, erudition and friendships, however, it is sorrowful that we had to hold the seminar totally on-line to prevent infection.
Nevertheless, we must not stop the progress of medicine and friendship. I wish this seminar will be valuable and satisfying for all the participants.
